friendly staff all-day breakfast really good quality dark room uneven paving uncomfortable lounger
The staff were very friendly. Beach service was good and I always had a lounger. Breakfast was a highlight and offered an all day option. Food quality was really good.
The room was a bit dark and lacked patio doors. Uneven paving made walking difficult and hazardous when wet.

The gardens looked beautiful. Miles of sandy beach stretched out before me. fantastic restaurants served delicious food. the staff was friendly and courteous. serving iced water by the pool felt luxurious. Everyone had a friendly smile.
The hotel promised a great deal. Much was delivered.

service okay, but some issues need addressing
poor soundproofing limited privacy
The breakfast being available all day was acceptable. At least there wasn't a rush.
The noise was a real issue . I could hear neighbors talking and moving things. this was awkward when they were arguing. also, privacy was not great because gardeners and other guests were constantly walking past my villa.

the beachfront restaurant provided great food. i loved the fixed menu sample options. the service was good and everyone was very hospitable. they were all very proactive.
the hotel is surrounded by a large fence, facing backyards of neighboring hotels. you can see this when walking to the rooms. there are no green bushes to obscure the less than pleasant view. old furnishing with clearly visible signs of wear.

canned crab overcooked pizza
I found the food quality inconsistent, a real letdown. A couple of times after dinner and breakfast, I felt really sick. It just didn't measure up to other places I have been to. the Thai curry had canned crab instead of fresh crab, which seemed cheap for such an expensive hotel!!! The pizza was also overcooked and hard as a rock. I think they need to seriously improve the food.
